Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Sanatan Dharma Vidyalaya ((ヒンディー語:पण्डित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय सनातन धर्म विद्यालय)) is a Hindi and English medium school situated in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. From class 1st to 9th and 11th, the method of teaching is based on standards set by New Delhi's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE); now only class 10th and 12th remain in UP Board. The school provides secondary education up to 10+2 level. Mahesh Srivastava became the principal of the school on 1 May 2013. The school is named ''in memoriam'' of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, a pandit known as a philosopher, ideologue, thinker and social worker. ==School culture== Students at the college are selected through an entrance exam. Each year 2700 – 3000 students sit for the exam, of whom 92 are selected. The institute has around 800 students, 25% of whom reside in the school hostel. As recognised by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and educational boards. The school was named after Deendayal Upadhyaya. The annual cultural festival is ''Varshikotsav''. It is held on the occasion of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jayanti on 25 September. The annual sports festival is held around the end of January. A graphite statue of Upadhyay was established in the school on the occasion of its Silver Jubilee in 1995.
